In case you can't tell from the picture, Sonia and her daddy are getting along just great.I realize that I've been quite bad about updating this site lately. Rest assured, however, that I have not relented in taking a ton of pics of my little girl. She is, in a word, beautiful, and we are having such a good time with her.
She's begun to smile regularly now when she recognizes a familiar face....and when less familiar faces talk in a high pitched voice - that works too. She is a good sleeper. During the night, I get up once between 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. to feed her. She immediately falls back asleep and I then I hear from her again around 6:30 a.m. She naps once in the morning and then most of the afternoon. She likes to sit in her bouncy chair and entertain herself while Don and I make supper in the evening. After that, she usually listens to her daddy play the drums or her mommy play piano or butcher some song on the guitar. She doesn't seem to mind my guitar playing, though, which is nice.
I'm tired a lot because of the added responsibilities, but it is indeed worth it as all my friends told me it would be. Ok, you guys are officially off the hook. You were right. :-)

Don't worry, you'll have time for updating this blog in the year 2026 when she graduates high school. :-)
Bouncy chairs are wonderful. Wait until you get an Exersaucer or doorway jumper for her! That's real entertainment.
