Apple Hill

We had a wonderful time at Apple Hill this past weekend. The apple orchards and the beautiful Northern California landscape were absolutely worth the 3-hour drive. Grandpa accompanied Don, Sonia and I and we stayed with Don's great aunt and uncle who were the most wonderful hostess and host for our much needed weekend vacation out of town.

Sonia is seen below in a pumkin patch at one of the orchards. It was difficult to get her to look up at us for a picture as the pumkins and the grasses were WAY more interesting than ol' mom and dad.

The last picture is of me in the same pumpkin patch just over a year ago with the pumkin we now call "Sonia" still in my belly. Wow...one year can sure make a big change. :-)

I've missed so many pics now that work blocks this site. So sad :-(

I finally remembered to pull it up at home!

I see a family tradition in the making... same pumpkin patch every year! You'll have to put Sonia against the same tree or something so you can watch her grow as the years go by.

Sonia is getting to be such a big girl and is right on target with walking/cruising.

i appreciate all of your comments... it's too bad that we can't view the blog from work anymore, or lots of people there would keep more up to date. what a pain! I finally updated the site today with a bunch of info from the last month. It's been a whole month since i've had the time to sit down and do that. time flies...
